Hello, I'm new and not quite sure how I'm supposed to put a skin on my forum. If someone could explain I'd be extremely thankful! ~Lady Croft

Hello Lady Croft. If you want to add a skin to your site, first thing first, are you downloading one or making your own? If your downloading one, you have to host all the images yourself to either PhotobucketRipwayTinypicOr else where, just make sure you host them yourself and keep everything in contact. Once you upload the images, go to your proboards admin area, then down to skins/ forum colors. You can either create a skin color scheme if you already haven't by clicking the "create skin link" Or you can move on to adding the images you have uploaded by hitting "Customize Images" From there you select the skin from the drop down you wish to add the images to, and place your images on the skin where they go. That should do it, if you have further questions of I confused you, feel free to ask. ^^

I have, yet another, question. I was trying to put a new skin on my forum right? And the global header and footer for the older skin is showing up on the new skin. I don't want it to. How do I fix this problem.
If at all possible I still want to keep the header and footer for the older skin.
Thanks!!
~Lady Croft

Hmmm. It might be a little easier to help with a link to your board if you dont mind?

Seems to be working just fine for me, only 1 skin show's up.
If it does it still try and remove all of your codes from your MAIN head MAIN footer GLOBAL header and GLOBAL footer and reinstall your codes.

No, that's not what I mean. If you register and try to change the skin to a different one, you have the global header and footer from the other skin.

without a code there is no way to do this.I think i saw a code at either ssd ot socal that allows different headers/footers for different skins.I would also check proboards support.

Would you mind giving me a link to the first two websites you mentioned?
