I couldn't find the board to post this on so I picked this one. Anyway...
I have downloaded some fonts off the internet and I can't find the way to put them on Microsoft Works Word Processor. Can anyone help me?
Thanks! Michael

I'd assume that once you installed them in Windows, you'd be able to use them.
Control Panel / Fonts / File / Install New Fonts...
Then browse to where you have them (make sure they're unzipped), select the ones you want to install, and then choose to do so.
Let me know if that doesn't work for ya.

It's not working... the font option that is there is the one that changes it and stuff... like if you wanted to do strikethru or sub/sup script and etc... anything else that might work? Thanks again...

I don't have that word processor, so I can only guess here...
If you have the fonts loaded into Windows, there should be an area somewhere that allows you to select the font you want. Unfortunately, I have no idea where it might be. I haven't looked at MS Works in over 10 years. Sorry.

XP I think... I'm pretty sure because the computer is either a 2000 or 2001... one of the two...

I can only really say what LHW has said. If you've installed them into windows they should appear in the dropdown list of fonts.

Have you reebooted the computer since installing them? perhaps that's the problem. i've also noticed in PSP that some types of fonts sometimes don't work. like these... i don't know why though

Well, lately we've been hit with a lot of viruses. So I guess the computer has been rebooted... or whatever... should I delete the downloaded ones and downlaod them again?

you could try that, i suppose. what are the fonts called? I could always download them too (assuming they're free fonts ;D), and see if I have any installation problems with them

As far as I know they are free. Here are the ones I was trying to get on Microsoft:
Dazey. Moo, DropCaps, CHR32, Burlesque, Boonta, Applebess, Acquaitance.
Good luck. Oh, btw, what program do you have? Microsoft Word?

I've got MS Office 2003 Professional...it came with my laptop last year. ;D
I can't remember the last time I used MS Works...although I know it was on the first PC that I ever purchased for myself.
You really need to upgrade, DVD! lol
