i realy enjoyed this tut. lean't some new stuff. The past few tutorials I've had to save selections to alpha channel, which is something i've never really used before. I'm starting to think of ways i could use it myself





Custom Navigation Bars

I did the tutorial with Matt again and agree that this was a neat tutorial. I liked how he did the highlight around the nav bar with the contracting and then changing the colour. It worked out really well, especially when I've done similar effects which took me hours and this took me just seconds! I will definately be using that in the future!!

Again, reminding me to use the Alpha Channel. And a new neat way to make highlights on an orb.

learnt how to use the freehand select tool on point to point mode. I messed around with it a bit more and came up with this.

thanks, guys I like the black orb tut, too. It made it all shiny! I did play around with the guassian blurs a bit to get them to look right to me.
