First set the attributes ( Ctrl + E) to 51x51 (or desired size as long as it's an odd number), magnify the image by 800%, and set up the grid ( Ctrl + G). Then select the line tool, like so: Then began from the bottom up creating diagonals (or vise versa if preferred). Continue and make sure that it looks like an "X" in the beginning. Like this: Now, skip a pixel over and start another "X". Continue to do so. It should look like this halfway through: Keep going until you are through. Don't worry, it may look weird but you're not done yet... Next make sure that Draw Opaque is unchecked. To check go to image and it is at the bottom. Or you can do this by selecting the Rectangle Select at the top right of the tool bar and click on the bottom image option. Select and copy the whole image ( Ctrl + A) + ( Ctrl + C) and paste ( Ctrl + V) on top of the original image. Next, make sure that the pasted image is still selected (you'll be able to move it, if it is selected). Rotate the image ( Ctrl + R) by 90 degrees. It should look like this (still magnified): Now, de-magnify the image to it's normal size and VIOLA! You're finished! I figured out how to make this by messing around. Here are a few other I made using a similar technique. How about you try and figure out how I did it?! *wink*

Hmm, that?! Well, it was basically from playing around with different designs until I found one I liked and then I copied and pasted. It's not really so hard.

I did, but I don't think I can claim it as my own pattern as I'm sure others have come up with it.

Well If you use 2 different colors with 3 different designs, and piece it together just right you come out with something like this They also make nice seamless backgrounds. And BTW micheal, I figured out all but the first and last one lol!

Just use the dropped to select the color then go to the panel right click the color you wish to change it to click teh eraser and then hold the right button down on the mouse and you can change the color you had on teh left click (confusing???)
