I have a question. If you set your time back to a month ago... would some things be changed? My dad had to do this when we werer bombarded with tons of viruses and he said that settting the time back was a last resort or whatever. Is there disadvantages to setting the time back?

Sure, setting the time back can mess up file dates, calendar events, etc... And, sometimes latent viruses if you haven't cleaned them off your system.
Example: Say you had a virus that was set to "go off" 3 days ago. Now you've set your clock back 1 week. Well, in 4 days, that virus will once again be active. See what I mean?
That's why it's always best to save up and buy the software...or find one that simply has an annoying registration pop-up reminder, but will run indefinately that way (i.e. a cool shareware program).

As with anything else on a PC, you just need to be aware of what, and when, you're doing something. If done properly, nothing out of the ordinary will happen.
