that is what I did on my forum for SoCal. Any of his usernames he used has been banned so people can't use them out of respect and then I made an announcement about his passing and the reason for his username not being able to be used. I think if they get enough signatures on the petitions, Proboards may just ban the username anyway.
I know this doesn't have anything to do with Matthew and stuff, but I just wanted to give my 2 cents worth about the username situation and how I wound up doing it.

That is a good idea and a great suggestion. Though I'm not sure Matt was as wellknown as SoCal was so they may not do it throughout the network and all. But I think Matt will be coming back and when he does, I hope he takes back his name. ^^
