Tears.

tears of love drip down his face
oh how he longs for us to embrace
the wonder of his eternal love
the reason he was sent from above

tears of sadness drip down her cheek
an angels words and she felt meek
her heart breaks as he does die
no bird dares to fly

tears of confusion run from their eyes
as soldiers heard his last cries
it is finished. what did it mean
for those whose sins went unseen.

tears of hope ran to the ground
as she saw her lord was not lost but found
her joyful words'"he is risen"
to the disciples. four more then seven.

tears of glee for all to see
from every christian across the seas
the living lord will come once more
to those whos hearts are his forever more.
