Personally I want to make a links page to everyone's blogs so I want a matching graphic for each blog as well. I love the ability to add custom pages!

I am having problems with my gallery pages but on my custom pages, today I put some of my favorite ecard sites. My purpose for that is two-fold. Just think of all the links that I won't have to keep bookmarked! And Ellie is lurking around my blog so maybe she will send ecards to all of us.
Mahud on some blogs, where it says mood, they use smilies. Is that possible on our blogs? And do you know if I can post code on it? We are still having trouble at exco posting the novocode generator script. I would like a good place to copy it to.

I tried to add an image for the mood using html tags and that worked, suprizingly I tried posting the Novocode script, but it got confused in places with some of the quote tag in places, and in the add on pages it doesn't show up because Javascript is enabled, and I don't think you can turn it off. There might be a way around it, but i'm not sure.

Hmmm I wonder what I did wrong because I did try that and it just stretched out the whole board into craziness. I will try again.

M@, I didn't realize that our Xigna names were the same. I liked my CrazedXtian one. . . but I want it different. . . so then I thought A Waiting Christian but that didnt ring right and then I thought An Anxious Christian. lol... sorry about that... I'll change mine because it may get confusing.
And for some reason Xigna isnt allowing me to subscribe. I click on it but it opens a blank window.

I have one, but it is mainly just for my mom to read so she knows what is going on in my life. So, I kind of post some more personal stuff there. I am thinking that I will start another blog to be centered more around my graphics. When I create that blog, I'll post the link.

I click on it but it opens a blank window. Thing is, with the subscribe to blogs thing, is that there are 2 different features. One sends emails, and the other is an rss feed which creates a 'live' bookmark in your browser (not sure if you get that in I.E). The rss was only added last week, and i can't get it to work at all.

How about "Little Boy Blue Blows His Horn" Michael? OK I can't post scripts I tried a lot of different ways of posting them and couldn't get anything to show up at all. It didn't seem to blow up the blog though so that is good. I guess. I tried to embed one of my test forums on a custom page and couldn't get that to work either. . . but that is probably the idiot factor at work there. I am going to keep trying even though it is a fool's errand simply because I want to but I did sign up for a test blog so that if I screw up anything, it's no major loss. I did get the smilie thing to work for moods though so I am happy about that and I added some new stuff to the blog news. It does HTML script there very well. Gosh I love learning new stuff. But I also had to tell Peter about 3 boards that are violating TOS. That makes 9 this calendar week that have been or will be shut down and it makes me very sad. If I ever decide to post illegal things on the internet it won't be on an excoboard! I think that I have become Aunt Catchow at support because all the teenage boys pm me to tell me almost everything from about a fight they had with their girlfriend, grades, illness and of course TOS violations. One of the "perps" posted "Oh well, it was fun while it lasted." I think that I need to make an "Oh grow up!" smilie. Shanny. . . . how about a screenshot? I know that your blog has to look awesome. Mine looks kinda like a patchwork quilt and I like it like that!

OOOOO! I'm going to make me one!!! A affiliate banner I mean... for blogs. lol... COOL! I wonder if the affilate scroller here would work on our blogs? That might be a better option than adding a page. The scroller could say some thing like Blogs I watch. I am sure that we can persuade Ashley to start one too. And maybe Ian and some others. I had thought about just snagging avs for the banners but the one I am using is too big so it wouldn't be fair. What would be cool is to snag our pics from Ellie's out of the box graphics and use them if we could slice the last one and recompile them to look unbroken and code them into links. My brain is spinning with ideas.

That would be neat! I think one of you who have test blog sites should try out the affilaite scroll code out on Xigna and see hwat happens. I am definetly for your ideas, Bethany!

The affiliate scroller will work. all you need to do is add the border css.
If you are using a Proboards use
<script>
.bordercolor { background: #000000; border-width: 0px; border-style: none; }
</script>
If an Exco, use
<script>
.TableBorder { background: #000000; border-width: 0px; border-style: none; }
</script>
;D

i thought you wanted to know if it was possible to put an affiliate scroller on the blogs, like at the bottom. If you want to use a proboards one or an exco one, you just need to add the boarder css to the blog header. Or you can make your own, of course. I've whipped up a couple here xignablogs.com/blogs/three_15/index.php

*sigh* Most of the exco scripts I have tried don't work on the blog. And the one you posted for me about replacing images didn't work either. *sigh* I think I need a brain transplant. Maybe I will get the one in the jar out and use it for a while.
