Honey an animated background takes forever to load and usually looks tacky on a messageboard. Those on dialup will not be happy with you if you use an ani bg.
Also those are still pngs on your messageboard. You didn't use the gifs which is why it still looks funny.

i haven't opted for the animated background any way something went wrong anyway I might also have to get rid of the animated banner to ah well i think it will still look good and i will prove to you that im using the gifs and what my board looks like to me so you can see if weve got the same problems. Heres what i see: EDIT: ive sorted the problem so ive deleted the mages and code for copyright and bandwidth, image hosintg problems etc IMAGES AND CODE REMOVED BY ME So as far as im aware of im using the gif files and its not working i hope this is a help....

the black background is the border colour. instead of making the background on the images transparant, you need to use the same colour to match your forum background.

if you are using a background image you really need it to be a single colour behind the table cells for the head and base images to look right. you can't really use, say a wallpaper, with this code.
There might be a better code out there that could do this (i've not seen one), but the head and base images would need to have an invisible table border.

I have no idea what you're talking about but isn't there part of a code that talks about that and you just put '0px' or something? So lost but wanted to put in my penny or two. lol... ;D
