Wow, I love the multi tone scheme going on there. But to point something out. . . it seems as if you started out with rounded edges and then went to sharp edges. . . I did yes thanks for noticing that but in the zip folder all of the smilys will have rounded edges

That's awesome. And just to let you all know. I have horrible art skills compared to you guys. But they look really cool.

Pssh, yeah right, I'm sure your splendid at it and you don't even know. Edit: PS- You should try making some smilies, Ian, there's a tutorial on how to make them here. It's fairly simple. The only hard part is choosing the color. Can't wait to see what you come up with. *wink*

That's awesome, Ian! I told you that you were good at it! lol.... If you want to make it transparent, you can use PSP9 (if you have it) or you can download the freeware program described by (((Thump))) in her tutorial that I posted. After you convert it to a .GIF you can upload it to the website she also posted in that tutorial to make it transparent.
Edit in bold.

lol.... I've used that line quite a few times lately. I'm sure that he (your dad, I'm assuming) would understand if you show him what the program does and that it's free.

If so you have to go to Admin then Skins then Customize Images then all you do is put the URLs of the images that you have hosted with like Photobucket in the area where it says http:// then save once your done. Hope that helps

what you need to do is download the smilies onto your computer (there is a download link with each set of smilies either in zip or rar format) and then host them yourselves at a image hosting place like www.photobucket.com And then use those urls to place on your forum. We don't allow hotlinking of images and you must host them on your own webspace.
