Whoo hoo!! I got my domain name today!! Merry Christmas to ME! LOL If you'd like to see how that template's coming along, you can check out my Essential Knights website here: www.essentialknights.com/I still have some data pages to complete, but it's about 80% complete now. Any and all feedback is welcome...unless it's bad. LOL j/k Note: It may take a day or two for all the world-wide DNS servers to become updated with the new domain.

Wow! It looks awesome! I love the colors and I think you did a fantastic job on the banner. An interesting subject, too. I'll have to read up on EO's now!

Thanks, Chief. I used Notepad and wrote it in HTML. It's all done in tables, and one iFrame (where the data gets displayed). The only CSS is for the A:Link, A:Visited, and A:Hover settings. There are also two small Javascripts: one that I wrote to randomly display a Favicon, and one for the countdown in the upper left...I plan on adding one more which will display a random quote in the lower right box.

*wonders what type of quotes he will use*
Do you have a script for that already because I know where one is that you could modify to meet your needs I think.

More or less, yes...I've got my Random Affiliate and Sig Display codes, so I'll just modify one of those. Thanks, though. And quite a lot of the quotes will be about...oh, looky, a butterfly. How cute. Now, what was I saying? I forget. Oh well. It'll come to me later.

lol i like that quote ;D. That website is a really good example to people like me as it encourages me that i can make a really good site with html etc. and what do you mean by iframe? is that an inline frame...i read about that somewhere and i think the book said that iframes aren't avaiable on netscape browsers but i dont know how long ago that was....i love the site once again. And whats with the "Chief"? lol

Rich calling you Chief means that he likes you and is calling you by a term of endearment sorta like when I call you Honey. Americans are very fond of giving people nicknames.

Yeah, calling someone "chief" is something my dad calls his close friends, and it's a habit that my brother and I both adopted. It's interchangeable with "buddy," "dude," "my friend," etc...

Rich I think that you ought to look for stupid stuff that people say on messageboards and use some of it. You'll never run out of material but I think that when you get to 500 you coukl safely stop.
Tongue puller that quote you mentioned along with a lot of other ones that I saw, aren't meant to do anything more than make you stop and either think or chuckle. There are lots of quotes to be found that are used commonly and they have been taken from sources long forgotten but contain tiny tidbits of wisdom or humor. When I looked before they all seemed to be animal lover quotes and the one that you think is stupid does contain a bit of wisdom as well. If you kick cats or pull their tails or perhaps in your case, their tongues, it means that they aren't very nice people. The way a person treats an animal or child can be quite a good mirror into their souls. Just think about it for a while before you call it stupid.

500!? Well, I added 20 more, so it's at 60 now (and that only makes the script 9K in size).

Well, Bethany (I'm gonna assume you're still lurking), it's now up to 150 quotes. Topics include: Animals, Love, Success, Motivation, Friends, God, and a few others.
The script is now up to 20K in size, so I'm debating on whether or not I should add more...I don't want such a minor piece of the board to be so large that it slows down page loads. I may max it out at 250, but I'm not sure yet. I guess I'll wait and see what kind of response(s) I get with these in place, first.
All my best!
- Rich

If you were still here Bethany....if you see this then thanks for that i didn't think of that in that way.... youve got a good point there thanks for pointing that out and making me think...150 quotes.....*faints*.....i cant believe it that would take me 100s of page loads to see them all
