I'm just going to cut to my point here, because I'm just so upset. I just got home from work and where I work it's a senior citizen's club and we play bingo there. Well, the President of this club was there tonight and it was close to the time to start the game and she started saying a child's rhyme and she replaced one word with a very racial, hateful word and everyone in the hall heard her. It makes it so hard for me to want to continue working there because I don't like to be around that sort of enviornment at all. It makes me so sad and so disgusted at the same time because she talks about God all the time, in a very good way, but she says something so hateful about people who are on this Earth as God's children too. So could someone please pray for this person. Help her open her eyes to see what she is saying is so very hurtful and wrong and hopefully help her change her hate into love. Thank you so much.

Thump, I will definately pray for this person. And I agree with you. It is just so sad when people do such hateful things. It really angers me, too. I'll also pray for wisdom for you to know what you should do about the situation.
I know that God can work in her life and make a difference. I will really pray that His love will penetrate her heart.

I've said a prayer for this Lady. I hope God will change the way she thinks.

Call me simple but I have never understood wholesale prejudice. I remember an episode of M.A.S.H. where some guy wanted to make sure that he didn't get any of that "colored" blood. So Hawkeye played a trick on him to teach him a lesson. They colored the guys skin and told him that the "colored" blood saved his life.
Whatever the case may be, the woman's actions were totally in appropriate especially for that type of setting. You should report her immediately because singing that song was a clear violation of the law. I'll not pray for her but I will pray for you thump that you find the courage and strength to deal with this person and situation drawing upon God's guidance and wisdom.

(((Thump))), I will sure have this in my prayers. Prejudice is like a cancer that will eat a person up---starting with the heart first. It divides the church, and it divides us as people. You will be in my prayers, as well, for wisdom and comfort. (((((HUGS))))) Hang in there, and know that help is on the way.....

(((((HUGS))))) Hang in there, and know that help is on the way..... I'm a few days late, but thank you. Things have been a little better at work lately, which I'm so happy for because I was just at my wits end. It brings such great pleasure when prayers are answered, especially with this situation.
