I am getting so frusturated . I have been trying to make my own template for my site, but I am having no luck. Im a newbie at all this stuff so I was just wondering if anyone would make the template for me because I cant do it. I would really like the banner to have this picture in it: www.peckfortoncastle.co.uk/_images/castle_history.jpg as well as the name: Easterly Academy. I would like for the site to be like golden or brown, something old but rich looking. Like the color I have now I like, I can include my site link so you can get an idea of what I mean, because I am sooo bad at words lol. If you guys could post it with all the codes too so I dont get confused that would be awesome!! Thank you guys so much, you have no idea how much this is going to mean to me!! ;D Link: www.easterlyacademy.proboards55.com/-That shows the background color I want, the writing can be changed that doesnt matter Also, I was wondering. You know how people have those big like news things, they normally have the history in it as well as member of the months. Im not sure how to do that, and maybe some help with a banner because I suck at those as well. LOL, so if you could help me with that as well that would be awesome and hopefully im not annoying you guys, I just don't know how to do this stuff. Thank you again!!!!!

I looked at the colours of your forum and ya know what? I made a template a while ago with almost the exact colours! Here is where you can find it... Pixel RefugeThen, if you'd like that one, we could make a new banner for you with that image in it.

I absolutely love that one! It's definately the one I would like, the banner would be great because I have no idea how to do that lol. Is the image I gave you alright? I kind of wanted it in the left corner like fading and then : Easterly Academy written across it in like really fancy writing lol. But by the looks of your work, you could make an amazing banner, so do it however!! I CANT WAIT!! Thank you soooooo much! ;D If you need anything else like more pictures or anything please let me know

I'm glad you like it! Yeah. I was like... woooah! Those colours are just like Pixel Refuge! They are almost identical. It is really wild how that worked, eh? I'd be happy to make a banner for you. Would something similar to the banner already there be good except with your image instead of the sail boat? I'll get working on it in the next couple of days

Your idea for the banner is fine, I know it will look awesome!! Thank you so much!!!!! I can't wait, and take your time lol no problem ;D and can you like put it in a code form so that I can see exactly where everything is supposed to be and stuff? (like copy and paste the admin page with the codes in it) only because I am seriously like word challenged lol!! If not though thats fine hahaha!! Thank you again!!!!

Well, I had nothing else to do... and so started working on the banner right away. This is what I came up with BannerIs it ok? I am having a hard time with colour right now and it looked a bit off, but I think it might be just me. And yeah. I'd be able to do that for you with the code and everything. Not a problem. The Read Me file also gives directions in it, too. I'll work on that and post it soon.

Amelia, here are the codes for your footers and headers. Where you need to insert a url for different images I put in capital letters "IMAGE GOES HERE" and the name of the image. You'll find the images need for these places in the folder titled "Background_Banner_Grads_etc" If you have difficulty, just let me know. Unfortunately, this is one of my more complicated templates. So, I'd be happy to help you. Hope it goes smoothly Global Header<center><img src="prheader IMAGE GOES HERE"></center>
<style type="text/css"> <!-- body { scrollbar-arrow-color: EFEEE5; scrollbar-track-color:CECCB4; scrollbar-3dlight-color:BCBA9C; scrollbar-highlight-color:BCBA9C; scrollbar-face-color:BCBA9C; scrollbar-darkshadow-color:BCBA9C; scrollbar-shadow-color:BCBA9C; } --> </style>
<script language=javascript> <!-- var PMLogoCell = document.getElementsByTagName("TD")[1]; PMLogoCell.removeChild(PMLogoCell.lastChild) document.getElementsByTagName('tr')[1].deleteCell(1); --> </script> Global Footer<center><img src="prfooter IMAGE GOES HERE"></center>
<center>Graphics by Shan at <a href='http://overcomersgfx.proboards42.com/index.cgi' target='_blank'>OCGFX</a></center><br><br>
<script language="JavaScript"> var boardwidth = document.getElementsByTagName('TABLE'); for(i=0;i<boardwidth.length;i++) { if(boardwidth[i].width=="92%"){ boardwidth[i].width='721 px';}} </script> Main Header
<style type="text/css"> <!-- .newstitlebg { background-image: url(prtitleandcatgrad IMAGE GOES HERE); background-repeat: repeat; }
.titlebg { background-image: url(prtitleandcatgrad IMAGE GOES HERE); background-repeat: repeat; }
.catbg { background-image: url(prtitleandcatgrad IMAGE GOES HERE); background-repeat: repeat; }
.menubg { background-image: url(prmenugrad2 IMAGE GOES HERE); background-repeat: repeat; }
--> </style>
The thread headers need to go in the headers of all the boards on your forum. Thread Headers<style type="text/css"> <!-- .newstitlebg { background-image: url(prthreadcatgrad IMAGE GOES HERE); background-repeat: repeat; }
.titlebg { background-image: url(prthreadcatgrad IMAGE GOES HERE); background-repeat: repeat; }
.catbg { background-image: url(prthreadcatgrad IMAGE GOES HERE); background-repeat: repeat; }
.menubg { background-image: url(prmenugrad2 IMAGE GOES HERE); background-repeat: repeat; }
--> </style> Then all the other images in the folders need to be put in the customized images part. Also, Matty made a tutorial on how to install proboard templates which may help You can find it here. Hope that all makes sense. hehe ;D

I'm glad you like the banner!! And you are most welcome! For the images, what you need to do is have an account at a image hosting place (like Photobucket and then all the images that are in the different folders of the download, you would need to upload them and put them in the proper spots. For the IMAGE GOES HERE spots, all those images are found in the folder called "Background_Banner_Grads_etc". The download does include stars They look something like this >>
