hi is there any easy way of writing pixel words in paint? you know for things like menu buttons etc? cos im making a template and learning and the same time and this is my problem at the moment

Yeah. What I do is look at a pixel font from one of those sites and just copy it. It works better than typing it out, it seems. And then, in time, you can make variations on it and do some cool things.

Um, sometimes I just maximize the pic to 800% and mes around with an idea and then minimize it to 100% and see how it looks.

lol thanks for the fonts ill try them when i get home (guess where i am ) i have tried to do it by hand but i always do it to big or too small, too close together or to far apart but my template is going well

I'm guessing you are/were at school? ;D This might help... I , like Michael mentioned, have the zoom on at 800%. To switch on the grid go to View > Zoom > Show Grid, or press Ctrl + G. To activate the thumbnail go to View > Zoom > Show Thumbnail.
