No, Aaron, I believe that he is Muslim. Right, WWE80? The best we, as believers in God (whether it be Allah or Yahweh or Jesus), is to be tolerant of other religions. Although we are tolerant, we can still be a witness of our faith and live our life as if being read like an open book. When nonbelievers see how we live their minds may change. See? Christ was tolerant. He didn't fight but he taught and preached. He lived the word. He was the Word (in a Christian's point of view and belief). Although He was just a prophet to Jews and Muslims, even they can learn from Him as the Christian's do. It may seem heresy to do so, but you can learn from a prophet the same as you can learn from the Messiah.
That is all.

We, as Christians, believe the Bible and what it says to be divinely inspired (or inspired by God's word dictated in a way to the writers of the Bible). So we believe that John 3:16 to be our reason for this.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."
In the New Testament it is explained that God sent Gabriel the Archangel to let Mary know that she will concieve a child by God. And since this child, Emmanuel ... also Jesus later died for the sins of the world. Which is mentioned in John 3:16.
We don't recognize Him as God alone but as part of the triune God. The Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost/Spirit. We worship Him because He saved us from our sins. Or really provided a way for us to be saved. We only need to accept His forgiveness of our sins and to be renewed in Him. God, whether He be God or the Trinity (including Jesus Christ), is worthy of our praise and more. That is why we recognize Christ as God, WWE. And we worship Him because He is worthy.

No, God does not have a wife. 0.o
The reason why we worship Christ is because He came and died for us. Although it wasn't his will to do that he still did it anyways for his love for us. God sent his son to us to die for us. And the Holy Spirit was sent to us to comfort, teach, lead, and guide us. These three together make up the Trinity. They work together and become one.
In a way, it is hard to understand but that's about as simple as it can be put other than naming the Trinity,
