This new movie will be released tomorrow. The DaVinci Code. It's all against chrisitans. How do you feel about that?

well, mr. "man" guest, Apparently you're so closed-minded that you have not bothered to either read the book or watch the trailer, so I'm barely going to dignify you with an answer.
Why don't you at least know something about the topic before you bash it?
It IS possible to appreciate a fictional book for what it is-- A work of FICTION.
'Kay?

Hmm, although I have heard that a lot of it was lies and crap about being antiChristian, but I think it would be wrong to not see it or read it before making an opinion about it. Especially if you are making your opinion known. =/ But personally, I want to see it because I like movies like it. ^^

I don’t think I’ll ever go spend money to see/rent it. It just doesn’t make sense for me to see it, even on artistic grounds. It questions the bible and Jesus’ own words, by saying that Jesus and Mary could have had a child. But I appreciate your reply to this mystery “man”, Lhiata. Not having the guts to speak openly is worse than having the embarrassment of losing an argument.

Yeah. Even I'm a bit lost on this one. I may not be the most religious girl, but Jesus wasn't even around for the first testament, and the second was written by apostles, others, ect.

Well, according to the Christian faith, the Bible is divinely inspired by God. When Kristen said that they were contradicting what Jesus had said, it goes for both physically and divinely. The words in red, the words Jesus spoke, have been contradicted and also those things which God divinely inspired the apostles (and others) to write.

i reckon it would have solved a hell of a lot of problems if jesus himself had just written the new testement (with maybe peter or thomas filling in the bits after he died) now that would be an interesting book! as it is, biographys are very often shaky on facts are they not??
