How do oyu download a template onto your forum? I can download it onto winzip, or whatever the program is called, but then all I can see are the random images when I open a folder... Is there a code I need to use? If so, could someone help me with the one for the "Tech to Load" template... I think thats what it's called...

fernstar, you need to upload those images to an image hosting site like Photobucket and then in your admin panel at your forum, go to customize images and plug in the url's. Here is a link to a tutorial that Matty has done on how to install a proboards template. Hope it helps.

I've tried this, but how do you start it. Is everything an image? I can repost the images to my site, leafpaw.com.

Those random images that you see are all the images needed to put the template together. They should be named according to their function and if there is any specific code needed for the template, then the creator would put it in the readme file. What you need to do, is save the downloaded file in a place you can remember (ie desktop). Then upload the images to a file hosting site, as Shanny mentioned earlier. Directions should also be given in the readme file if you have to do something specific.
If there is a certain problem that you can point out with the template, please post it and we'll see what we can do.

Well, I tried it and got this far: housecameron28.proboards92.com. It looks fine to me, but images don't load, such as the buttons, when I try to upload them. Also, on my other site, ferncloud.proboards47.com, I have a PM bar, shown beneath the header. The only problem is I cannot find the code in my global header, which is a little strange, as I wanted to use it for the site I am trying to download the template onto. It's the first link in this post.

Okay, hmm. Post the url of one or two of your buttons. If they show up on here they should show up on your site.
If you want, you can post your global headers and I'll look through it for you. I tried checking your sources it but it didn't show. If you feel uncomfortable posting them publicly, PM them to me.

I actually think everything but the buttons are working, which I can live without. Could you take a look at the site and tell me if everything looks alright? housecameron28.proboards92.com
