Okay, I use Photoshop CS2.... And my challenge at the moment is making folders for proboards. In any template I've made, I've attempted folders and failed horribly... Any tips on this? I've search different tutorials and such but... they're always on a large scale instead of a smaller. I want them to be on the scale of no smaller then proboard's default folder icons.... but preferablly a little larger Like 20x20? I'm not asking for them to be made.. just tips on -how- to do it on a small scale.

I'm not sure if this is going to help you or not... But, one way that I make things smaller in PSP and stuff is by making them big and then changing the zoom in size to smaller like make it at 100% and then zoom it down to like 20% and do a screen cap of your desktop of the image and then crop that and save. Don't know if that little tip'll help...

It's a good tip for things with straighter edges, I think, heh. For something like this, I believe it needs to be made on a small canvas, initially.

There are usually two types of icons: pixel and anti-aliased (usually Vector). Pixel icons tend to be created at the original size (like 16X16), whereas anti-aliased icons are created large so they can be resized ( an example). I suspect the default ProBoards icons have be resized too. Pixel icons can be created using a brush with the tip set to 1px. That's how I make them, and I always make pixel stuff at the original size.

All of them look good Amor.
Maybe once you have mastered them you can create a tut on how to make them.

Hmm possibly.
Do y'all allow video tutorials? Cuz that's the kind I make, heh.

Better? Or this maybe: I like the second icon. The light and shadow is more effective I think. The first one is a little too dark. Usually starting with something midway for your base colour is the easiest to work with, allowing equal room for light and dark shading. Hmm possibly. Do y'all allow video tutorials? Cuz that's the kind I make, heh. Sure, post the link in the tutorials board

A video tutorial? SURE! We've had one before by... Speed, I think. But the link was broken, and it was a pretty cool tutorial to.

Wow! That looks great! Though... maybe a little lighter. The dark grey is hard to see against the black. BUT! I still love it! ^^

It's easier to see when it's on the layout... Like, completely surrounded by the black, heh.

Ummmmm
Whenever I find out how to make decent smilies... and Unchained finishes this code.
But he's just started a new job so I've no clue when that'll happen...

Oh, well, good luck in finding a smilie style that you like. ;] And hopefully, Unchained will find the time to finish the coding. I think he will because I work as well and I try and find time to get online. It's hard finding the time, I admit, but... I find it. So hopefully he will as well.
