Hiya. I would love to be able to do my own avatars. How would i go about doing animation avatars as well as non-animation avatars? Would it be ok for a tutorial for how to do them Thank you Clare

Clare there as many different ways to make avatars as there are avatars I think. And I do believe that there is already a tut by M@ for making avs with MS Paint. Also look at thumps smilie tut. One simple way of making avs is simply to find free stock photos or use your own and resize them or crop them to the proper dimensions. Animation is a whole "nuther story and it really depends on what kind of animation you want and what programs you have to make them with.

If you have imageready I can show how to make some avy's I just whipped a couple example real quick For the top 2 I can direct you to a quick tutorial. The Family Guy one I used Paint and erased his eyes for the original and repositioned them so it looks like he's looking around and I did glowing text. I can show you how to do all of these!
