I use Paint Shop Pro 9 for all of my graphics. I also use Paint, but not so much lately. I've never seen a tutorial on how to make/add borders. You need to use css or something though, to center the border image and make it repeat vetically. <STYLE type="text/css"> <!-- body background-position:center top; background-repeat:repeat-y; } --> </style> This is the image we use here to give you some idea. img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/dudleythoth/ocgfx2/bg.gifI made it by drawing vertical 1px lines with a paintbrush and filled in the sections with gradient and pattern fills. and then added some 1px highlight lines to make the gradients stand out and look more 3d. there's nothing to it really. It might help if you copied and pasted the image (you need to click and enlarge before you copy ) into a grahics program (paint would do it) and view the image magnified at 800%. Which was the magnification i was mainly using to make the image. you'll get a better idea of how the image was made that way.

You can fix this by going to Image > Increase Colour Depth > 16 Million colours (shortcut: hold down Shift + Ctrl, and press 0). You can also promote the layer to a background layer, by left clicking on the image in the layers palette, and selecting 'Promote Background Layer'. I hope that helps. I use this image when I'm working on the colours for a template. It helps me to play around a bit more, and it's quicker and easier than having to keep on putting in the colours into the actual board again and again. If you think it would help, feel free to copy and save Proboard Canvas
