Hey guys and girls I was just wondering if you could teach me anything that can make my pictures more intresting on PSP7. As you can see the only thing I can do so far is colorise my images. (See Avatar) Its not very good I know but I would love it if I could get some tips from the masters of Signature creating, avatar making If you could help me, please don't post links to sites because I never understand them they are mostly pretty crap so I just ignore them. Just do what I have done below so it makes thing easy for me So to colorise my image I did to following: Colors > Grey Scale Colors > Increase Color Depth > 16 Million Colors (24 Bit) Colors > Adjust > Hue/Saturation/Lightness... Adjust Color > Click Ok Simple Pimple I hope some of you still use PSP 7 but if not I guess whatever version you are using will have similar features so I should be alright. It's tough being crap at PSP you know I would love to do the kinda stuff M@hu and Shan do. Would make my day.

I hada look around for a psp7 download so I could be able to help you out more, but no luck there i'm afraid. I did find this that should help me understand the differences between 7 and 8 a little bit better.

Thanks for finding that, Matt. I've been thinking about it, too... And I am planning on doing a tutorial soon that might help you out with a bit of blending pictures into a background. I hope to get to that soon. And I'm sure it will be PSP7 friendly (or I hope). The main thing I do is just play around till I get the look I'm going for. And sometimes, I don't even know what the look is I"m going for till I see it. hehe The main thing I do with a picture is cut it out with my select tool/magic wand/eraser. Then, soften the edges with my softening brush (which would be in your tools palette). And then select my select tool with a feather of around 15 or 20 and go around the picture with it and copy and paste it into my canvas that I am going to make the siggie or avatar. So.... break up. pick a picture cut it out from the background >> with select tool/magic wand/background eraser soften it with softening brush (brush size 5 or 10 and opacity around 10 or 15) use select tool with feather around 15 or 20 cut and paste That's kind of for starters. The basics to cutting a picture out, I guess. And then from there, I just play around with layers and stuff like that. Adding duplicate layers of the same image and then changing the blend modes. (I'm not sure where they would be located with PSP7) Also, using brushes is a lot of fun. You find your brushes in your tools palette as well. Add them in the background of your image. And it helps to blend your pictures in with the background, too That is some info I hope it made sense. And if it didn't please ask away.
