Does anyone else use a digitizer or Wacom tablet to do graphics? If you do, what is your secret to using it?? I have one, but I can't seem to get comfortable with it. Even simple sketches turn out looking as if they were drawn by a four year old! Just curious as to whether anyone has tips or tricks to share...

I would love to have one. My friend Sarah has one and I have played with it a bit. To use one effectively though you must know how to draw. Sarah starts her pics with the tablet and then after getting the basic layouts, she transfers her pic back and forth between several different programs until she gets the result she wants.

I do have a bit of background in art, and although I am far from expert my sketches generally do look a bit better than a four year old's! I guess my problem is that using the tablet and stylus is very different than using paper and pencil and I am having trouble getting making the adjustment. I suppose the only solution for it is to practice.

I've only ever really heard about graphic tablets. I like drawing, but I'm not too hot at it, and the end result always looks a bit messy, and i was never happy with the end result, which was kinda frustrating for someone who has a strong desire to create. Learning to create graphics on the computer helped me around that problem I'd still like to have a play around with one though
