Masks. HELP MEEE!!!!

I'v recently been introduced to the idea of using masks in PSP and would like to try them out. I know basically what they are and I think I get how they are supposed to work but:

1) How/where would you get one?
2) I have access to PSP7 and this seems to be causing some sort of problem as far as downloading them is concerned. It's like they aren't configuered to that version or something. Does anyone know why and how I can sort it?

If anyone could give me some Beginner level instructions or point mwe towards a nice tutorial site I would be very grateful ;D

Silver, you know what... that is something I still have not learned or played around with yet in PSP. I am not much help when it comes to Masks.... to be honest, I'm not even totally sure what they do and where to do them and how to do them. So, I am here to learn as well!! Please, if any of you have ideas and suggestions on how to work with masks, I would love to hear it, too!!
