I use psp, but i do have the option of saving psd files. what exactly are they the equivelent of psp files? do they save individual layers and stuff?
I'm thinking of including psd files in my templates as it seems to be the done thing to do.

Yes, PSDs are the equiv of PSP files, and they contain all the layers.
Not sure just how compatible they are, though. Tell ya what: do a test one and send it to me. I'll test it, to make sure that it works properly.

Well, it was a pretty basic file, but it worked fine.
Three layers: Red on Blue on White.
