to late Shan, you've highly embarressed me! ;D
I tried out lot's of different things for the backgrounds Aaron. Mostly I used brushes, and for the sigs that glow (the Squall and Yuna ones) i used the dodge brush setting. I also used a couple of filters and some photo stock.

Thanks Rich I try to get brushes but every1 makes them for Photoshop CS and I got only version 7.0! Any help? i could have a look for you Aaron and see if i can find any. What version do you use? I noticed in the screenshot for your grid tutorial that it was elements. Is that the same as 7.0?

Wow. I have no idea who the characters are in the siggies but they are pure awesomeness! ;D Great job, M@! Oh, here's a font question (lol, I'm always asking about fonts, aren't I? ;D): What was the font to write what FF # or whatever and then your name?

Thanks Rich i could have a look for you Aaron and see if i can find any. What version do you use? I noticed in the screenshot for your grid tutorial that it was elements. Is that the same as 7.0? Before I downloaded the free trial of PS7 I had used my Uncle Nick's Elements. Sometimes when im over there I use it. I dont like it, as much as 7 because it doesnt have as many filters and cool tricks as Photoshop 7 or CS. Thanks M@hu for looking into for me!
