i wouldn't of noticed it either if you didn't mention it, but when it's your own work its hard not to notice these 'imperfections' esp' when its magnified. even now i notice it, it doesn't look any less good.

Meh, I decided to go with a finishing effect that maintained the background integrity after all. So, it's now been updated. lol

I just spotted a problem, Rich. In I.E the animation leaves a couple of pixel wide borders across the bottom and right hand side of the image. you being a perfectionist and all made me wonder if you were seeing this in Netscape so i check and they didn't show there. It looks as if your mini-banner isn't cross browser.

Meh, it's the browser, not the image. I just went thru all 223 frames, and there's nothing extra in any of them: all the frames are clean.
Just another reason why everyone should use NS/Mozilla. ;D

My guess is that it's the way the browser is buffering the frames. Anyway, the 2 nd SOTW Contest is up (along with the voting for the first). Here's my entry for the new one:

Oh. My bad. I just figured he mistyped "200" since I just hit that...I never even looked at the total post count. lol

LOL That's alright. It is a quite weird actually that you reached 200 and the board reached 2000 at the same time
