Thanks, ya'll. ;D
And I just picked a brush site and chose a few at random. I think I used primarily 2 in it, but had bits of about 4 or 5 others as well.

LHW, yeah. That is really good! I think an excellent job at your first time using brushes. I was wondering.... I am personally have problems mastering brushes. Could someone direct me to a tutorial or write a tutorial in how to work brushes better? Whenever I use them, they always turn out to look the same... I guess I shouldn't really post this here. lol Bad admin! LOL;D

Thanks, Shan! I don't think I'm qualified to write a tutorial on this, but here's what I basically did with this one, after I came up with the background image: - Used 2 layers for the brushes.
- Used Black brushes for the bottom layer, and White ones for the top layer.
- Set the bottom layer to 80% Opacity.
- Set the top layer to Hard Light.
The rest was just fudging around with it, and working with color saturation levels.

When using grunge brushes play around with all the settings...alot! Esp' size , rotation and opacity. also mess around with the different brush blend modes. dodge is the one i tend to use an awful lot at the moment. Take your time with it

Rocky said he'd have his in this weekend, so we'll have at least 1 more. Eez may be too busy, and I'm not sure about Crystal or Joshua. EDIT: And I've not heard of that Anime...I'll definately plan on checking it out sometime.

I thought it would be a bit lonely all on it's own. it needed sme other anime sigs to keep it company.

Another one, just for fun (if you can count 18 layers as "fun"): The creature is from the Anime Classic, Genocyber.

Woah! that's fantastic! I've seen that effect used quite a bit but not as elaborately as that. I'm not surprised it took so long to put together! I'm too impatient to do animation.

Thanks. I don't normally do animated images, so it usually takes me a little longer to do them.
When I added the final fade effect, the background pixelated a little, but I thought it was worth it to keep that effect...you can't really tell unless you look really close, and compare it to my regular category background. lol
