thanks, Matty Here is mine I made today. Something Bethany said made me think. About how she liked the banner I made at TRLT. So, I thought that I would try and implement some of my new techniques with some of my old techniques and see how they would mesh together. I think I like it! Have to remember not to forget what I have been doing for new things. Keep the old, but learn the new, eh Shan now you are talking my language! Jesus is the Light!

Bethany, I would like to give you that sig as a gift. You are the complete inspiration for it. Thank you for helping me and for helping me grow as an artist! That means so much to me that you challenged me like that! God bless you, Bethany!! *hug*

Bethany, I would like to give you that sig as a gift. You are the complete inspiration for it. Thank you for helping me and for helping me grow as an artist! That means so much to me that you challenged me like that! God bless you, Bethany!! *hug* I willingly accept your gift Shan with one provision, you must "sign" it before I will use it. Now if you need further inspiration, my favorite color is purple. I love the symbolism of the rainbow and the dove with the olive branch and would really like something that speaks of the freedom in Christ. All done in soft muted comforting colors. So there is a new challenge for you. You have the rest of your life to complete it. One last little request though. . . . pray before you start.

Here is a siggy I made this morning. Oh yes Shan. You are going to get better and better at this and even though I am too stupid to do it myself, I am glad to be here to cheer you on. Just call the idiot cheerleader if you need some encouragement!

lol... me too!!! I can easily draw/paint these things . . . much quicker than using graphic programs. lol... I think Michael that I still think I am not creating art unless I actually get my hands dirty. When I was painting all the time, I usually had paint all over me. To sharpen a brush tip, the brush went into my mouth most times or I used my fingers or my arm or whatever was handy. (My body was always handy) And when using chalks, I would exude clouds of colored dust whenever I moved much until that masterpiece was finished. When I get my scanner hooked up again, I will try to scan some of my drawings for you guys.

For me, I've always had artistic tendencies, but I have never been able to draw or anything like that. So, when I found graphics, it was an answer to prayer! I finally had an artistic outlet! I always had music, but something about visual arts is just so more expressive for me. I would love to see your guys' other art! It would be really coool!!!

i tried to scan some of my cartoon characters earlier, but they are all in pencil and won't scan properly. i have some inked stuff, which i'm sure would scan brilliantly, but it's all in london I often have trouble scanning things Mahud. Things that are small get huge and tiny smudges that can't be seen get grossly magnified. There is a small editting program attached to the scanning software but it often makes the pics look muddy. However it does include some very cool features that I haven't found elsewhere. Micheal I am old (compared to you) and a female but I love to get sloppy with clay too and in fact have a big bucket full that I am trying to rehydrate enough to make some cups and boxes in time for Christmas gifts.

i'm not entirely sure how to configure the scanner properly and stuff, which doesn't help. also you can scam text and import it into word, but i can never get it to read the text properly, which is a major bummer. another sig from me

Mahud this newest one of yours is beautiful. You let the Light in!
Micheal I think that you and I ought to get busy and try a little harder. My friend Sarah wants to beat me because she is so upset that I have all the programs and rarely even bother to open them. I do most of my stuff in MSPaint or PhotoAlbum.
