This is something that I've been working on for the last couple hours.

What did you do and how did you do it?
-grovels at Michael's feet-

For the nebula:
-selection tool set to square, filled in with red orage graident
-contracted by 25 pixels and filled with blue pink gradient
-blurred
-wave effect
-motion blur
-set to screen
-add brushes, set to soft light
For planets:
-selection tool set to circle
-fill with gradient
-add grunge brush
-fill with gradient again set to soft life, darken, etc.
And then I got the stock image at the bottom. ;]
