I like them both. I really like the image you chose for the first one, and the colors look really good together. Do you use something like Palette Master or Color Schemer when you make your sigs? You seem to use color combinations that I would never have thought of, but they always look great.

Now that I'm beginning to get the hang of PSP9 and can actually accomplish a good looking sig, I try to think of a sig M@ or Shan has done and think about the borders. Because besides the text, I think the borders are what catch the eye. And so you have to make them all special like. But yeah, I TRY to create a sig using a border style similar to M@'s and Shan's! I especially like the wavy ones they used a bit back.

You seem to use color combinations that I would never have thought of, but they always look great. I just make it up as i go along really. I'll start off with a pretty plain colour...i'm not too fussy about the colour i use to start it off. I'll set a dark shade in one colour box and a light one in the other, and apply it using a grunge brush, and probably play around with the brush blend modes a bit. To create the backgrounds I like I mainly use colour balance and distortion effects. I duplicate the background, and apply the colour or effect until i have something i can use, and then i erase the bit's i don't want, merge down, and reduplicate. If i keep messing around like that, eventually cool things always seem to happen ;D for the border I colour pick from the background, and also use the above metheds to make it blend and match even more, and same with the render and text.
