1px pixel space sig

Thought i'd try and pixel a space scene. Doesn't look much but it took me something like 2 - 3 hours to make. Got to practice some dithering, and i thought the stars came out pretty good

you made this by using induvidual pixels? wow. that must of taken alot of patience considering it took 2-3 hours

How'd you make the stars?

create an image with a black background and magnify to 800%.
Set your paint brush to 1pixel.
Select white #ffffff in your forground and stroke properties.
Reduce the brush to an opacity of 50, and make a single dot.



then reduce the brush opacity to 40, and go around the dot



reduce the opacity to 30 and go around the dots around the dot ;D



do the same again at 20



and again with an opacity of 10



and that's all there is too it



you could even do it in paint, but use a light to dark grey instread of opacity settings

yeah, i copy and pasted as a new layer, and then duplicated the star layer a few times.

And thanks, I think my little pixel dude turned out rather well considering i didn't spend much time on him
