Some more Isometric stuff I did this morning  . This time from a beginner's tutorial at Zoogles.co.uk. for the shapes above I was following the construction method known as type A, which looks better, but can only be used for single objects. For these shapes I have been using the type B method, which is better for drawing groups of objects. You'll find a better explaination Here ;D. This Impossible shape was used as an example and wasn't really part of the tutorial, but i thought it would be cool (and good practise) to draw one anyway.  This is a type B tile  and this is a type B tile grid.  M@ |

Amazing, Matt!! I think the impossible shape looks so cool!!  I may try my hand at some of this stuff sometime and see if I can get it or not. You are one talented guy, Matt  |

Man, I must agree! These are so awesome! I really like the pixel masterpiece! How long did it take for you to make it? about 10 minutes or something. It's just the same two shapes copy and pasted over and over ;D. The cool thing about Isometric Pixel Art (IPA for short ) is that all the shapes are of equal proportion and angle so it was very easy to piece the shapes together. Isometric meaning something along the lines of 'everything equal'. |
