I thought it would be cool to start a thread where we can post our non-digital art stuff. I used to try and draw cartoons. Can't say i was much good at it. I think i can do better stuff in graphics program, but I realy enjoyed creating stories. This isn't by any means the 'best' thing I've done, but it's all i can find. it's the only thing I've done in colour usually i'd just pencil everything, and i have a few strips that i've inked too. I love the moon one as well. I love using oil pastels too because they blend colors so nicely and it is kinda fun to get your hands all stained.

All I can say is I admire you guys being able to do something without a mouse and keyboard in place. hehe I have never been very good at drawing or painting or anything like that. Though, I did make a stuffed turtle when I was in school and I got a really good grade on it and I won a pumpkin carving contest when I was in grade 3. lol But, my friend, Laurie was always way more talented at drawing and such than I was and therefore, I never thought I was artistic. But, now I realize that I have always been artistic, but just needed to find my way. So yeah. Anyways. I admire you guys and will sit back and enjoy your work. Michael, yep. The moon one is great! And Matt, I think you did a good job with your cartoon!

Aw, thank you! And I'm sure that you can draw. I've found that anyone can draw. They just have to be interested and determined enough to do it.

Yeah, I'd go along with what Michael says too. You just need to take your time. Really look at what it is you are trying to draw, every little detail, until all those little details kinda start coming together.

Yeah, and if you are drawing a large object try dividing the paper up into different 'cells' or into a big grid and then do the same for the object (if in a picture) and draw each thing that would go in the cell. It makes drawing a lot easier!
