hey, my friend Natty is using the Purple Sweet Shop skin for her board. she has asked me to install it as i successfully installed a skin on my own board. the only problem is, i have copied and pasted the code from the read-me file yet it doesn't look complete like your version. lilmisskinky.proboards44.com/index.cgiplease, could you get in contact and let me know where i'm going wrong or if possible, could you finish the installation? we also seem to be missing some icons. any help would be much appreciated and i know it will be a brilliant skin once its completed! sincerely, horse |

Hi. I want to help out as much as i can  I don't think there are any missing icons. Except for the folder icon. I generally just make one for 3 of them, as I don't see the need to make different ones, and i only make one 'Hot' folder for the same reason. You are also missing the background image and the title bar image. I'm pretty sure they are in the zip file but i'll double check just to make sure. I can fix it all up for you. This would mean that i'll need admin access and the details of your image host (via pm 'matthew'). I understand if you don't want to. but it would be easier Let me know what you think M@  |

for now, see if this helps. in the zip there should be a folder called 'Banner_background_h&f_images'. In there you'll find the background image called 'pssbgb2', which goes in the 'edit forum colours> background image.' you'll need to put the code in all the headers and footers, not just the main one. the only difference as far as i can remember is that you need to use the 'psssubtextareaimage' in all the sub headers instead of 'pssmaintextareaimage' which is used only in the main header. and that' as far as i can work out is all you need to do. Unless you've removed it, you should be able to access them in the Info Center, under the Forum Statistics section. If it's been removed, you can always access them by added the IM action to the end of your index URL. For your site, it'd look like this: lilmisskinky.proboards44.com/index.cgi?action=imHope that helps. -Warlock |
