You need to upload them to your own image hosting place. Places like Photobucket or Walgata are 2 good places. And then you put them into your customized images. |

I just had come post in this particular thread as soon as I was done watching a movie, because in it, they mentioned the Ouroboros serpent. I said to myself, I know I've seen that name before, and I was having a braincramp and couldn't think right off, but then I remembered and sure enough.  Sorry, but I just found it to be weird, so I had to post about it, lol.  |

hehe yeah. I like mythology and it's a good source for when i'm stuck what to name a template. The Ouroboros (I think it means tail biter, or swallower or something, although i could be totally wrong) is the mythical serpent that swallows it's own tail, forming a circle. Examples and variations of it can be found pretty much everywhere in the world. In Norse Mythology it was the Midgard Serpent that encircled the world Oh yeah, Aquilla is a constallation and an Eagle from Greek mythology  |

You know on the banner howd you make the pictures look like theyre transparent (well the grid infornt of it anyway) cos you did that on my Earth 2160 banner to i think and its a really good effect so please could you tell me?

Hey Lost, I looked at the banners and it looks like M@ used a scanline on them. Here is a tutorial for it. And at the end of the tutorial there is a link to another tutorial which you might like to check out. On your banner and the Ouroboros banner, it looks like M@ used the 2x2 pixel pattern. Hope that helps. |

thanks Shan thats really helpful. Un-luckly i havnt got PSP any more  however i have got Gimp and i found out this morning i was experimenting with Blinds type patterns which went horizontally across the image. I made a banner and put it into the Made any Graphics today thread. But im going to try that one too if i can in Gimp (i hope you understood that cos i read it through and i got lost ) |

actually, i think i used the blinds effect for the banner as well, with a low opacity.
