Hey there, Im having a little trouble with the template provided.
I have put all the images, smilies etc up and made my own banner but Im not surehow to do much else.

The above link is my forum and as you can tell most of the info provided in the .ZIP file has been done. But IIm sure theres more to do than just that. In the image in your post, it doesnt seem to look the same as my forum.

Could you please help me and post the right headers and footers needed. Inluding the up[loaded images because Im really confused about what to do and Im sre you have them uploaded still.

^^that adds the scroll bar colours puts images on the title, menu and cat bars and centers the background image

you'll find those images in the 'other_images' folder in the template zip.

The background image is missing. that is in the same folder and goes in 'modify forum skins'.

i couldn't see anything else missing

I did notice that you had 2 forum width codes in your footer, you could take one of those out.

oh...i just noticed you have the ip image in the info center. To make sure you have all the images in the right places why not select this skin in your profile, it will help you to know where to put all the icons and stuff.

Hey again, thanks for the info but Im not very good with the whole uploading images and HTML etc.

Could you possily fill i n the (Url image goes here) bit yourself and then post the whole code so I can just copy and paste it, so its quick and simple and I can get on as usual?

You are going to want to host your own images, and I can't put the urls in untill you host them. if you get me

Ive noticed that you have the birthday thingy on ures and I dont. Also you have events this month on yours.

How come I dont?

Also why isnt my topics and post count going up?

Why does it have to be so hard

You just have the background missing now. that's in the 'other images' folder and it called 'ombg1'.

The birthday thing will only show up when it is someones birthday, and for the events to come up you need to go into the calendar and add an event.

The topics and post stats only work for the main boards (the same with the 'view last posts'), unfortunately.

If you Stick with it Owen, and you'll work it all out eventually. You've worked out most of it anyway

Hey man, Im gonna seem like a right pain in the arse but Im getting complaints about the scrollbar on this template. Personally I think its alright as it is but they dont seem to think so. Its kind of putting them off too, they would rather click the bar instead of using the thing most of us call a scroll wheel.

Anyway would it be possible to make the face color of the scrollbar a bit lighter so its "easier to see"?

I have tried myself but the colors palett thingy that proboards suggest, there isnt a decent grey at all.

here are three possible colours. i think the top one is the best. the ones below are a touch lighter and might be better for your members .

it's not much really, Owen. It's not as if you are making huge demands or anything, hehe

All i had to do is put the original colour code in my colour palette and click to make it a bit lighter. no problem at all
