I've read quite a few of Frank Peritti's books. I've read "This Present Darkness", "Piercing the Darkness", "The Oath", "The Prodigal" and "The Vow" I really enjoy his writing and you remind me that I should try and read more and re-read some of his books, because it has been quite a few years since I read anything. I haven't read any of Ted Dekker's books, though. I'll have to look him up in the library Is it kind of the same style as Peretti?

OH MY GOODNESS! I am an avid reader of both authors! I have read every book by both except for the earlier books of Ted Dekker and his "Blink." And I haven't read FP's Tilly.
My favorites: TD: The Circle Trilogy, Showdown, Saint FP: This Present Darkness, Piercing the Darkness, the Oath
Shanny, imo, TD is the "younger, more hip" version of FP. You should read HOUSE which both wrote together. I know that you would absolutely LOVE TD. And Matt, I think, would especially love it! Especially The Circle Trilogy, Showdown, Saint. But if he [or anyone else for that matter] reads those, read them in the order I just put them in. They were written chronologically. They're not a series but info is shared in the later books that you wouldn't understand unless you read the previous written books. Comprende? ^^

I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan, too and also super hugely into sci-fi as well. hehe Anything that is so out of this world that it takes me from this one

I've heard about them because ALOT of people I know read their books, I'm thinking about reading them myself. Didn't both of them team up to write a book? "House" I think it was, not sure, but my mom read it. Anywho, I am really thinking about reading some of their books, they all sound great.

Yes! They did! And it was awesome! You should look into reading some of Ted Dekker's! I've grown to like them just a TAD BIT more than Peretti's. [covers head in shame] I've turned my back on the best old school Christian fictional writers ever. lol.
