I heard a brief interview with Gibson on one of the local Christian radio stations, and it sounds like he only cut out about 5-6 minutes worth of footage. Hopefully that'll be enough. The uncut version sure is intense.

tell me about it; i couldn't watch the whipping scene, it nearly killed me *gag*
loved the agony in the garden scene though, it was amazingly unsettling

Ew, it was kind of weird but I liked the part where the snake tail was in the "devil's" nose... and later crawled out from under the garmet... lol... but that lady played at good devil, you know. But I about freaked out when Judas (? I think ?) was hiding in the brush and he turned and that demon jumped out. lol... I think the whole theater freaked... =D

What really freaked me were the demon kids that started to tormenting Judas.

They were demons? I thought that they were just little kids. But that baby Satan was holding was one messed up kid...

erm, Mike darlin'...that 'snake' up satans nose was a maggot *ewwwww, gross gross* if i was directing that scene, i would have told JC to yell a triumphant 'HAH!' when he stamped on the snake  it really crunched in a satisfying way considering he was wearing sandals |
