It's been a while since I did it...but i think the box is like a film projector. it gives you the clue to where the safe is located.

you need to find two rings (which are pretty easy to find), and a metal stick...which is very sneakily hidden, hehe ;D

hehe, ok I'll try that one.
i'll give you one last clue. the clue to the safe combination is in the name of the url on the note. with that in mind you'll find the combination on the site.
