Can someone please tell me what he is asking about. When there is something in MY keyboard, I turn it over and bang it on the bedrail.

You need to use Extended ASCII Characters. They're entered by holding the <Alt> key down, and entering a 4-digit number on the number pad ( not the row above the keyboard). This'll help figure out what code to use: Extended ASCII Chart

Ummm Rich he wants to get rid of something. . . . not learn something new. I don't know what those "accents" he is talking about are.

Are you sure? I ask because I've never seen a keyboard that had accent keys in it...you always had to use Extended ASCII Characters to see them. (unless it's a keyboard for a language other than English. And, in that case, you can't get rid of them) And "getting them out of something" is a common expression around here, similar to "how do I figure out how to..."
Example: the only way I know how to display รก is <Alt>+160...other than attempting a Copy and Paste from the Character Map (that doesn't always work, though).
