(1) Make the theme easy
With making a complicated site, the less members. Simple huh?
(2) The skin is always welcome
New skins are important. Don't ask me why, they just are.
(3) Nice skins get the best members
Skins are one of the keys to having lot's of members! Make 'em easy on the eyes, not too bright, but then again, not too dark. Flashy and welcoming is the best kind.
(4) Don't keep 'em waiting!
Already advertised before openning or finishing the site? Don't keep those new members waiting for the admin to open the site! Finish it as quickly as you can, but take your time to make it just right.
(5) Advertise, advertise, advertise
Sites aren't just for friends, open it to all guests! Advertise on the best and worst sites, you'll get mixtures of different members.
(6) Make it flashy. Use nice codes
Headers are one of the first things a guest or member sees when coming to your site. Make it look nice!

Some great tips there, what do you think of this place? www.sarahsboard.co.ukAny hints would be good, we advertise everywhere buit are getting a bit stuck as to how to get new members, we get a steady 4-5 a month. Lots of visits from guests theough spo we are advertising in the right places, just need get them to join and post now:D |
