Hi rickz,
You may get a better response if you post what exactly is happening on your board through this thread instead of relying on private message (pm) option. ;]

Well, if you are choosing from one of these... first, save all the images provided by the creator onto your computer as backup. Then upload them onto your own image hosting provider, such as PhotoBucket. On your forum, go to the admin > customize your forum > skins / forum colors. When the window refreshes, choose "create skin". Create a name for the skin, or use the one already given by its creator. Now, look at the thread where you've found the premade skin. Scroll down until you see "Board Colors" and "Pop-Up Window Colors"; use the codes given and place them accordingly. Now, you may have noticed that we skipped background color and background image at the top. Assuming that you've saved the background to your computer and then uploaded it onto Photobucket, go to your photobucket account and copy the url for the background. Now paste that url where it says "background image url". Save. Okay, pay close attention to this step. Open up Microsoft Word, Word Processor, Notepad, Wordpad, whatever. Now and copy the Global headers code given to you by the creator. Paste it in Word, or whatever program you chose. Now, you will see capitalized letters in the code like "TITLE GRADIENT HERE" or "CAT GRADIENT HERE". Now, go to PhotoBucket where you've uploaded your images. Find the title gradient's url, copy it, and paste it where the capitalized letters are. Now do the same with the cat gradient. And in some cases the menu gradient. Now, return to the administrative functions via the admin button in the menu bar. Again, under "Customize your forum" > headers and footers. Select "global header/footer". Now, copy the code for the Global headers from Word (or whatever) and paste it in your forum's global header. Now do the same with the global footer. Save. Now for the rest of your images... return to the "skins / forum colors" via the admin. Select "Customized Images". Select the skin you just created. Now, go to Photobucket and begin copying and pasting the images accordingly. Now that should complete it. Let me know if you need anything else...
