OOC: This is only for people who read the request in the profile thread, at the bottom of my profile and posted a character and agreed to the standards.
It was dark, the skies pitch black and the moon hanging high above. Leaving a silver glow to everything that met its gaze. It was a full moon, and stars gleaming all over the desolate night sky. Polaris, the brightest star was in its usual spot showing the direction of north, as the other stars circled it, hour by hour. No nightly clouds hung above at all, it was just a clear sky, very clear. Every star that hung above could be seen. It was cold out, very cold. A gentle chilly breeze periodically passed through the lands. The night fell quiet, leaves twisted and turned like little whirlwinds on the ground in the gentle breeze, making tender scratching noises on the ground as the wind dragged them along. Creatures of the night awake to their “new day.” Prowling through the silvery glow of the moon, seeking what there is to eat, and finding something to do, to occupy their time. They didn’t seem bothered be the coldness of the night, they all seemed like it was nothing and continued about their usual doings.
Oddly colored paws dug at the earth’s silver surface. Colors of red orange, black and yellow prowled through the night. The oddly colored paws carried a weary body. Their head hung low, with their ears back. A strange looking pendant hung from their neck that was softly glowing an odd light blue color. Weary, fiery wings dragged across the ground, leaving burnt marks on the earth’s surface, and the flames weren’t even going out at all. The breeze that occasionally came through only made the flames dance around and waver. Oddly enough, these creature’s eyes didn’t even match their body at all. Icy blue orbs scanned the new terrain, not even recognizing anything at all. But still, the creature had the will to keep moving forward. Every creature this being passed, stared at it. Not even knowing what to make of the strange being. Yet it didn’t care, all the creature knew was, they were searching for something, but they didn’t know what, and they wouldn’t be satisfied until they found what it was they’re looking for. The creature’s eyes didn’t even budge from watching the path before them to the staring creatures before this being. They didn’t even care.
The fire that burned on the wings of this creature, created a light that could be seen miles away. The warmth of the fiery wings kept the being from getting chilled by the wind. The creature finally stopped walking, and looked to the clear skies," Give me a sign anything, what am I searching for?" After the creature spoke, they perked their ears, and still looked to the heavens, icy blue eyes jumped from star to star trying to catch a sign or signal of anything, if there was one." I just need a hint. . . " The creature sighed. It's voice was very femine and soft, as if full of sorrow." I've been traveling for days, hundreds of miles at a time, with little rest. . . . Where am I going. . . " She laid her ears back, and looked down. Her eyes then spotted the night creatures that were staring at her," Beat it!" She then bared her teeth and gave a growl, then calmed down again.
She then sat down where she stood and looked around, feeling alone, well. . .Kind of. She lowered her head to the ground from wearyness and laid her ears back again. Closing her eyes, her wings fell to the ground and were slightly spread a bit. What am I searchin for. . . How long will it be? She sighed again, and then threw her head back with a quick jerk, and left her eyes closed and her ears still laid back. A gentle tone flowed from her maw, it bounced off the trees, and everything around. It was a cry, a cry of lonliness and weariness.
