The morning sun, just rises above the horizon. The skies turn a pinkish bluish color as time soon passes by. The morning mark is across the lands, dew. All the nightly creatures pass away back into shadows to sleep the day away, and the others awaken and begin their hunt for food to nourish their souls. But two figures do not dare to stop and rest, they continue to travel on. For many moons have they travelled, travelled to where, I cannot say, but their journey has not ended yet. Both tired from fatigue, and had not a bite to eat since they left, they still travel onward. Pressing forward with each step, the next as deadly as the other.
One figure of white and the other as black as night. They both move with their head hung low to the ground, and eye lids hanging so low it felt as if they were dragging across the ground. These creatures were Elemental wolves, shunned from their home days ago, and banned from their families, especially the wolf as black as midnight. His name is Meeko, though smaller then the wolf of white, who goes by the name of Skylar, Meeko carries a larger "bite" then "bark". Every once in a while they would look to one another and nod, but this time was different.
Meeko looked to Skylar and sighed," I'm sorry this happened to us, it's my fault. If I didn't distract you Discovery wouldn't have fallen off the cliff, and you could have saved her, she would have lived, it's my fault indeed. We wouldn't be wandering for all eternity if it were for me." He looked away from him and shook his head," Son of Dethro, blood of mine, why did you reject the throne of the Gods? You could keep away shadows over the lands, with each step we take, we are wasting time, you still have a chance to fight these fiends who want this land, lands of peaceful creatures. Think, you could keep Angel and the rest safe though you will never see her again." He sighed again, looking to Skylar, who seemed sad and angry at once now, he looked away again. " Are you going to speak?"
Skylar just sighed and shook his head," Meeko, it is not your fault, it is mine, I should have been watching her. The cliff gave way I wouldn't of been able to save her anyways." He shook his head again," The only reason why our journey continues is because we choose it to be, that is the only reason." He didn't dare think about his love Angel again, she was a godess in his eyes, she lead the pack with equality and love, he wasn't such a great leader, nor could he be a god. He was just a wreckless being who cannot control his anger when it channels through him, he was a imperfect wolf, an imperfect soul, bound to the ties of life by only his element. His element that calls to him, sings his name, calling him to learn to use it in a skillful and masterful way, (Hopefully he would learn to do so soon.)
He just looked back to Meeko when he mentioned Dethro," The same question falls upon you in a different way, why did you slay your family, you could have stayed with them. Instead you acted with violence when they said they would kill you, how could you have the heart to do such a horrible thing?" He sighed and shook it away," Nevermind, I never really knew you my dear uncle, I've only met you a few short months ago. I have no right to judge." He shook his head once more and then hastened his step." Let us hunt for once."
Thinking it was a good idea not to pry on him, Meeko agreed to the hunt, after all it might do him some good to release some tension he held up inside since he was banned.
