I fell and hurt myself badly a few weeks ago. I was on the floor for hours because I was too embarressed to call for help. I saw the doctor later that day and several times since because of this stupid fall and the damage to my knee. I was even having to give myself shots in the stomach 3 times a day. Now for the 4th day in a row, the temp has been below zero and I can't go out. My knee was seeming to get better but the last couple of days it has turned kinda black, hugely swollen on the outer side and very hot. It is so swollen that I am getting stretch marks on my knee and it is sticky to touch. I need to see a doctor again as I am in a lot of pain and misery but it is dangerously cold here and I risk my life by breathing the air outside. I don't know what to do and I am scared. I am just so scared of what might be happening inside my knee.

I have been praying constantly but I don't seem to hear any counsel from God on this. If I call certain nurse friends I know that they will make me go to the er in an ambulance again. I really don't want that to happen. Please pray for me.

I'm praying for you, Bethany. I pray that you can really get your knee looked at and treated, and that you will get the medical attention you need. And I pray that The Lord will help you in the meantime with the swelling and the pain. I pray that God will give you peace, and help you to not worry and keep looking to him.

Please Lord God, help bethany. She really needs your help at the moment.

Bethany, you know I am praying for you and I hope there is some change since I talked to you last night. Please, please, please call one of your nurse friends if it gets much worse. I know you don't want to, but I hate to think of you not receiving treatment for something that sounds so serious.

Yeh same with me as Lash said. You should go to hospitle no matter how embarrising it is it just wont get any better sitting there it sounds quite serious then again so does the temperature. im sorry to hear about your knee. Ill pray for you and your knee to heal soon or that something will happen to help you along at this difficult time wiht your knee and the weather.

The temp is rising and some of those people who got stuck out on farms and ranches are going to be able to make arrangments to get off their own property and hopefully back into town. My own doc says that she will be here sometime today or tomorrow but also states that I need an orthopod much more than I need her. However since they all moved way out west it will be near impossible for me to get there so the new plan is that she may admit me to the hospital for "observation" and call in the orthopod for a consult. Then whatever treatment is needed imediately can be done without a lot of fuss. The respiratory therapist came and said that my O2 sats are too low and that my one lung is gurgly so that is grounds enough for the observation. They are gonna say that I might have a blood clot in my lung and I will take a test where I breathe radio active isotopes. (Michael that means that I will glow in the dark) No one really thinks that I really do have a blood clot but they have to say that so that the insurance will pay and then I have to do that awful test while we wait for the orthopod to come in. Keep praying please.

Aw, Bethany, I'm so sorry that your knee is hurt like that. I cannot imagine how it must feel. I mean, I know you've desribed it but I'm sure that alone gives it any justice. I will definetly pray for you.

Dear Lord, I ask you that you'd help my friend, Bethany. She is very hurt at the moment and she needs your touch. I know and believe that you can touch her whether it be through medications, tests, or in some miraculous way. You are the Great Physician. You bore our sins and pain in order for us to live. It was by your stripes that we are healed. I ask you that you heal my friend. You are Jehovah Rophe- the God who heals. I pray in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, that you will heal, Bethany. And I thank you now this very moment for how you will heal her. Let your name be glorified in this healing. And I pray these things in your name, Jesus Christ. Amen.

PS- On a lighter part, Bethany, that'd be so neat to be able to glow!

I pray that the Lord shines His healing light down upon you, and heals both your physical injuries, as well the emotional ones. Be well, my friend.
