Hi to all,
very nice graphics and color layout. been touring arounding joining forums like crazy. I saw all the "add-ons' for your proboard and my question is where do you put in the code?? I have built my own website so I know html but I cant see or find an area to upload or edit on my admin area etc. The only thing I can clearly see is that I need an image host to link to thanks for the two you have listed.
I download some templates and different stuff in zip files and I am now lost!
Can u help

Add-ons? You mean like the different tables shown here and there as well as other things? Go to Admin >> Headers and Footers >> select which board you want. Global headers/footers means everywhere. Main means just the home page and nothing else. And if you select a board name, it'll only be there.
So if you want to put a code... like an affiliate table code and you wanted it shown on every page connected to your forum, place it in the Global Headers/Footers (you decide). If you want it to be shown only on the first/main/home page, place it in the Main Headers/Footers. And if you want it shown only on one board, select the boards name and paste the code in its headers/footers.
I think I may have made it confusing... if it is... use the second paragraph as I think it is much clearer. Sorry if I lost you and I hope that I was able to help.
PS- WELCOME TO OCgfx! It's great to have you here and I hope you enjoy your stay! ^^

Also, how do you put a Graphic signature into the sig box? I'm just havging a hard time getting started on where to put stuff, I've build websites but thats all about the "upload".

ok, to upload: 1. Go to www.photobucket.com and login. 2. Click "Browse" and click on the file you want to upload. 3. Edit Description if you want and remember Photobucket only uploads these types of file formats: .gif .jpg .jpeg .png .bmp .swf My advice: Never upload animated images to photobucket host. It messes up your image's quality and it will make your image's animation faster automatically. If you want to upload animated things, use www.imageshack.us or www.imagecave.com4. Click "Submit" and it will be uploaded to your Photobucket account. 5. Now, find the image you uploaded and and underneath the image, it will give you link to three things: URL: It will give you your URL Tag: This puts the link into HTML so you can just put it in your headers/footers. Img: You use this link to put sigs in your signature box. 6. Copy the "Img" link and paste it in your signature box which is located in your Profile below Avatars "section". 7. Well, that's it If you want to put a sig that redirects to your forum when you click on it, use this tag: [URL=YOUR BOARD'S URL][IMG]YOUR IMAGE URL[/IMG][/URL] If you need more help, feel free to ask.

A welcome center? Like the one we have? Where it says, "Welcome to OCgfx" and provides a number of links and such?

In proboards, the "Welcome Center" is the Top table where the banner and main links go, and by default it says "hey USER, you have XX PMs, XX are new" something like that and it also has the date. You can customize that with a lot of codes, or you can create a new one like Michael said with special links and/or information, news, etc.
