My favourite that I downloaded of all of those is definately Color Cop!! It is basically a must have if you are wanting to do customized colours and aren't sure what the colour is. YOu can grab colours from anywhere on your computer! It is sooooo handy! I use it ALL the time

I tend to use Lens alot to zoom in on webpage graphics. i think it's better than the MS Magnifier.

So, every single program on here is free? They won't start charging me all of a sudden?

Also, do you have to be a certain age for any of these? I'm 15, so can you please give me the best programs for somebody my age. I am looking for programs that will basically help me make my proboards site better. Make 3D graphics, gifs, backrounds, templates, anything like that. I would really appreciate it. Also, something better than paint. I'm not really sure what all I need, so anybody that knows what they are doing, please give me a list.

Yep it all 100% free stuff, and if you have some creativity any of the programs above may help you out if you cant afford a decent graphics program/image editor.

I'd recommend you download Photoshop, pselements, or psp though. They are all trial downloads, each one lasts for 30 days and after that the program will just stop working. All three are pretty similar, and if you download one at a time, by the end of it you could have yourself a nice looking proboard.

Okay, Adobe Photoshop won't work on Windows ME, and Psp9 requires me to give my adress, and i'd rather not do that. Can anybody give me an ALL free, not a trial version of a program that doesn't require a certain age and will work for all my needs. If possible, one from each category up there.

I would really appreciate this, i'm not good at this kind of stuff.

There are no age restrictions, and you don't need to fill out any forms either.

sorry I can't reccomend any of it to you. it never really helped me to design a proboard. i did a better job in Paint than in any of the above.

Maybe the Ultimate Paint Standard. Not really sure, though.

the closest i've EVER come to photoshop is with the Pixia program. I'd try that!

I downloaded that, but i can't seem to figure out how to put a good border on with it x.x

I don't think i am gonna find a program as good as Photoshop.

something i do for borders is make something in pixia and move it to paint and do borders with a line tool

Yes, i could download it, but you need the GIMP runtime files too, and you have to pick a mirror, do they cost money depending on which one??

Also, MahuD, what program to you use to make your templates? I would really like to try and make one myself, so... ya.

yeah...I left gimp out because i had problems with it. to complicated. i thought that was the whole thing.

I use psp9. started on the trial version and bought it at the begininng of this year. it's all i need

What about Adobe Photoshop Deluxe? Is that a good program and does it cost money per month/year? I saw it at Best Buy the other day but i didn't get the chance to look at it, mom was in a rush x.x
